The Mad­dest­max­imvs project began in 2007 with a series of record­ed per­for­mances locat­ed in the Aus­tralian hin­ter­land. It has since devel­oped into a com­pre­hen­sive body of work com­pris­ing video, sculp­ture, paint­ing, pho­tog­ra­phy and instal­la­tion. Per­for­mances are sit­u­at­ed in dis­parate loca­tions, includ­ing the semi-arid sur­rounds of Bro­ken Hill and Menindee in west­ern New South Wales, the Mur­ra­ma­rang For­est on the South Coast of New South Wales, and urban Sydney.
